Order a coffee in the digitally moderated conference? Go. One of the many Easter Eggs of the teambits software is the possibility to pass orders from the audience directly to the catering. The most robust variant is the automatic printing of orders via the receipt printer of the catering or the kitchen. Event participants order by iPad, Smartphone or Tablet at their table or seat from the menu, which can be stored in the EventApp. The order is then output directly to a printer. As an option, the data can also be transferred to catering software;
In the video we show how onboarding works in an event in order to adjust event information and interactions of an event to the individual participant. The participant uses their personal PIN, which they receive during onboarding, the participant can adapt their data and decide to publish their data in the event in accordance with the DSGVO. Many functions such as participant chat, agenda or interactions can be offered anonymously or personalized.
Management feedback does not have to be uncomfortable for those involved, as the following case study from a car company shows. To optimize the corporate culture of the car manufacturer, the Group Human Resources department, together with a management consultancy, develops a workshop concept that forms an important intersection between strategic corporate goals and personal development opportunities. The key to the success of the concept is the digitization of the feedback process using teambits. As part of the project, more than 300 executives and approximately 4,000 employees can exchange views. In spring 2016 VfB Stuttgart has involved thousands of members in reginoal assamblies in developing new ideas for the club. In individual events in January and February up to 1000 participants each came. Such a participative concept of club development is considered unique in the history of the Bundesliga. Anyone who is invited to a conference today can now attend from home. In “hybrid Events”, parts of the audience are spatially separated: a part is present at the Event, the virtual participants participate live via the Internet. This is possible thanks to video streaming. To participate means to be active from afar. Audience response tools such as teambits:interactive enable equal audience participation for all participants. For example, to ask questions on the podium or to realize a cooperation between all participants, as is also known from the facilitated group work. The example of a two-day management meeting of an international insurance group – conducted in the Federal Palace in Bonn – illustrates the advantages of digital moderation. The company brings together 240 of its executives at a two-day non-public meeting. All participants can enrich the content of the event with their own smartphone or tablet. They directly participate in a creating value, as their personal knowledge becomes productive in the course of the event. Participants generated information is merged and documented in real time. The procedure: On the first day the participants are activated as discussants in a panel discussion. On the second day, the results of the previous day will be picked up in order to gather and deepen ideas in a “speed workshop”.
